World Poker Tour 2005 - WPT Satellites

The following information is from 2005. Satellites for the 2006 World Poker Tour Championship have not yet been announced.

Winners of PokerStars WPT Championship satellites will receive an entry in the World Poker Tour $25,000 Championship at the Bellagio in Las Vegas, Nevada beginning on April 18 and running through April 24. The package includes the buy-in to the $25,000 final event¹ and $1,000 spending money.

¹ Please note that the package value is based on the $25,000 buy-in + $500entry fee charged to enter the WPT Championship.

Round 1 and 2 satellites: For as few as 100 PokerStars Frequent Player Points, players can win their way into Round 2 satellites Each 1,000 FPP satellite will award nine seats to the Round 2 event, and each 100 FPP satellite will award two seats to the Round 2 event. PokerStars will award one WPT package in each Round 2 10,000 FPP freeroll. Click "Events" and then "WPT" in the PokerStars game lobby for a schedule of WPT FPP satellites. $1,100+$50 satellite: PokerStars will award one WPT Championship package for every 24 entrants to the $1,100+$50 satellite. PokerStars will offer daily multi-table and Sit and Go satellites to the $1,100+50 events. Visit Championship Path to see all of your paths to a WPT victory.
