What is the Australia New Zealand Poker Tour?
The PokerStars.net Australia New Zealand Poker Tour (ANZPT) is a series of major poker tournaments conducted throughout Australia and New Zealand. The first season of the ANZPT started in Adelaide, Australia February 4-7, 2009. PokerStars is providing opportunities for you to win a seat to play at ANZPT Events.
When and where are the ANZPT Season 1 events taking place?

The ANZPT reserves the right to cancel or alter details of listed events at its discretion.

How old do I have to be to participate?
You must be 18 years of age to play in the PokerStars satellites to Australian venues of the ANZPT and 20 years of age to play in the PokerStars satellites to the New Zealand venue of the ANZPT.
Is there any travel money, hotel, or other incidentals associated with this promotion?
For ANZPT Queensland package satellites, winners will receive an USD$3,345 package. That package includes the AUD$2,500 buy-in to the ANZPT Main Event, six nights accommodation at the Conrad Jupiter’s Hotel Gold Coast and USD$500 spending money which can be used as a contribution to your travel expenses, such as your air fare and taxes. You will need to make your own travel arrangements, and we encourage you to do this early as prices increase significantly if you don't book in advance. ANZPT Queensland Event satellites will also be awarding winners an AUD$2,500 buy-in to the ANZPT Event. Note that you must play at the venue as designated by PokerStars on the satellite you have won – entry, hotel and accommodation winners must play at Conrad Jupiter’s Casino, Gold Coast while Entry Only winners must play Day’s 1 and 2 at Conrad Treasury Casino Brisbane and if they qualify for Day 3, they will then play at Conrad Jupiter’s Casino Gold Coast. Can I sell or transfer my seat if I win?
You must play the first ANZPT Queensland package you win otherwise you will forfeit this seat. If you are lucky enough to win additional seats to ANZPT Queensland, your PokerStars account will be credited with USD$500 cash and W$2,845 for package satellites and W$2,055 for Entry Only Satellites. Can I purchase an ANZPT Queensland entry only or ANZPT Queensland accommodation and entry package with W$?
Yes. Players may buy-in to ANZPT events using W$ providing they have PlatinumStar or Supernova VIP status on PokerStars. This service depends on availability. Requests for W$ direct buy-ins must be submitted to registrations@pokerstars.com and requests need to be received before the final online qualifying tournament on PokerStars. Capacity is limited, so to avoid disappointment, please notify the ANZPT as soon as possible if you want to buy-in directly. Direct Buy-Ins for the AUD$2,500 ANZPT Queensland entry only and ANZPT Queensland accommodation and entry packages will be done at the current exchange rate equivalent in W$ at the time of registration. As of June 5, the exchange rate would make the entry only price W$2,055 and package price W$2,845 for ANZPT Queensland. Subject to availability players may buying for ENTRY ONLY seats for both Conrad Jupiter’s Casino Gold Coast and Conrad Treasury Casino Brisbane. Accommodation and entry packages may only be purchased for Conrad Jupiter’s Casino Gold Coast Otherwise, you will have to win your way into the ANZPT via a PokerStars satellite. Please contact registrations@pokerstars.com if you have problems or concerns. All W$ buy-ins to ANZPT events will be PokerStars sponsored players for that ANZPT event, and they are required to wear PokerStars branded clothing for the duration of the tournament.
Can I buy into side events at the ANZPT with W$?
No. This promotion is for the ANZPT Main Event only.
I won! What do I do now?
You will receive an email from the ANZPT describing the basics of the package and telling you what to do next.
Will I be required to wear PokerStars gear during the ANZPT event?
Yes. In exchange for us providing this opportunity to get into the ANZPT event, you are agreeing to represent PokerStars at the ANZPT. When you win an ANZPT satellite on PokerStars or buy-in using your W$, you will have to wear PokerStars branded clothing throughout the event. We will provide you with the clothing and hope you'll wear it with pride.
