Australia New Zealand Poker Tour - Terms and Conditions

You may represent PokerStars in an ANZPT Main Event by winning a satellite on PokerStars. The package value is set in advance of satellites commencing by reference to the exchange rate at that time, as determined by Pokerstars.
You have the opportunity to represent PokerStars in an ANZPT Main Event if you are PlatinumStar or Supernova VIP status on PokerStars by using your W$ to buy into the event. Direct Buy-Ins for the AUD$2,500 ANZPT Queensland event and AUD$3,345 ANZPT Queensland Event and accommodation package will be calculated by Pokerstars by reference to the exchange rate at that time. As of June 5, the exchange rate would make the ANZPT Queensland seat price W$2,055 and package price W$2,845. Please note, W$ buy-ins are subject to hotel availability.
All satellites to the ANZPT will be No Limit Hold 'em. Each week there will be up to four “Direct Qualifiers” guaranteeing one ANZPT package . Additionally there are daily feeder satellites to the “Direct Qualifiers”.
Entrants must be 18 years of age to participate in the Australian venue satellites and events. Entrants must be 20 years of age to participate in the New Zealand venue satellites and event.
By participating in an ANZPT satellite on PokerStars.com or by buying a seat with W$, you grant PokerStars the right to use your name and likeness for promotional purposes without further compensation.
By winning a seat in an ANZPT event, or by using W$ to purchase a seat, you agree:
1. to wear PokerStars logo clothing (provided by PokerStars) through the ANZPT event; and
2. except with Pokerstars.net's prior approval, not to wear the branding logos or corporate colours of any party other than Pokerstars.net or its related companies.
By winning a seat in an ANZPT event, or by using W$ to purchase a seat, you agree to wear PokerStars logo clothing (provided by PokerStars) throughout the ANZPT event.
The first ANZPT seat you win is non-transferable and non-exchangeable and can only be claimed by the PokerStars account holder. If you win, you must play or forfeit the seat. Furthermore you must play at the venue as designated by PokerStars on the satellite you have won – entry, hotel and accommodation winners must play at Conrad Jupiter’s Casino, Gold Coast while Entry Only winners must play Day’s 1 and 2 at Conrad Treasury Casino Brisbane and if they qualify for Day 3, they will then play at Conrad Jupiter’s Casino Gold Coast. If you win additional seats, they may not be sold or transferred; your PokerStars account will be credited with W$2,845 and USD$500 cash for ANZPT Queensland package satellites, W$2,055 for ANZPT Queensland SEAT ONLY satellites.
By playing any qualifier or otherwise seeking to participate in an ANZPT event, each participant acknowledges and agrees that their participation is subject to compliance with rules of entry to ANZPT, the rules of the relevant ANZPT venue, these terms and conditions and the execution of a consent form. During the ANZPT, strict rules regarding player behaviour will be enforced. These may include penalties, up to and including disqualification, for foul language, abuse of dealers, players or any other person during the Event, or any other behaviour that the ANZPT Venue organizers, in their sole judgment, believe to be detrimental to the conduct of ANZPT. PokerStars will not provide any refunds if you are penalized or disqualified. Failure to comply with these terms and conditions may cause PokerStars to withhold from any participant or player any benefits provided under these terms and conditions and to require the participant to cease to participate.
Players competing in any ANZPT event are required to permit their image to be shown on television internationally, without restriction and in all forms of media including the Internet. Entry into each tournament is taken as that player giving their consent to participate in the relevant media coverage.
Any player playing in any ANZPT event acknowledges to PokerStars that the entire copyright and all other rights throughout the world in any film and /or video or other recordings of themselves taken or made during any event on ANZPT shall belong to PokerStars.net and to the extent that the player holds any such rights they are hereby assigned by the player to PokerStars.net.
The player warrants to ANZPT and PokerStars that they are able to assign all such rights and give such acknowledgements.
Any player in any ANZPT event agrees to comply with any reasonable request made by ANZPT or the Tournament Director during the event to assist in publicizing, televising or promoting the event.
Players must make themselves available to attend press conferences and/or television interviews at any reasonable time during any event on ANZPT if requested by ANZPT, the Tournament Director or his representative.
