Registration Instructions and Tournament Details

To be eligible for the event, all that is required is that you have a regularly updated blog that is a minimum of two (2) months old. Once you have registered (see instructions below), we will e-mail you a confirmation letter with a verification code for you to Post on your blog. This code will allow us to identify you as the legitimate owner of the blog and allow you to announce to the world that you are playing in the PokerStars Blogger Championship.

Registering is easy as...

1. Download the PokerStars software and follow the setup and installation instructions. Create an account if you do not already have one. This will take just a few minutes and you are under no obligation to spend money at any time. Again, you do not need to deposit money in your PokerStars account or provide any financial information in order to play in the Blogger Championship event. Yes, it's absolutely free!

2. Visit the registration page, fill it out completely, and follow the related instructions.

3. After we verify the above steps have been followed, we will register you in the Blogger Championship tournament. You can check that you have been registered by clicking on "Tourney" then "Private" then "PokerStars Blogger Championship" in your PokerStars lobby.

Blogger Championship Tournament Details

The PokerStars Blogger Championship on October 23rd, 4:00pm (EST) will be a No Limit Texas Hold'em event with the following tournament details:

• Each blogger in the event tournament will start with 2,000 chips.
• Blinds will start at 10/20 and will go up every 15 minutes.
• Prizes will be awarded based on placement in the tournament.
