How to Register
Register for the WBCOOP Now!
For your blog to be eligible, it must have been online for at least two months and updated on a regular basis. Blogs created specifically for this promotion, or that only have a few posts, will not be granted entry to WBCOOP. If you have been eligible in the past for WBCCOP but have not updated your blog on a regular basis since the last event, you will not be eligible to play. All decisions about eligibility rest with WBCOOP management and are final. PokerStars also reserves the right to limit multiple entries from the same domain, and requires that blogs have substantial, unique content to be eligible for the WBCOOP.
How It Works
Follow the simple steps below to register for the World Blogger Championship of Online Poker.
1. If you haven’t already done so, download the free PokerStars software and follow the instructions on how to set up an account. Remember - you don’t need to deposit any money to take part in the WBCOOP, but you must have a PokerStars account to register and play.
2. Fill out and submit the registration form below. You will then be taken to the success page and given a unique verification code, which you must post on your blog - this is so that we can confirm that you are the owner of the blog page. It also gives you the chance to let all your readers know that you’ll be playing the event! Please allow 2-5 days for verification. Please be sure you have cleared all emails from PokerStars.com through your spam filters.
3. After the registration process is complete and your blog has been verified, you’ll be given a ticket, which you can use to enter any and all of the premliminary events and the main event on the 31st of January. You can check that this ticket has been issued to your account by clicking ‘Requests’ and ‘Tournament Tickets’ in the PokerStars game client. Registration for each daily event will begin two hours before its scheduled start time.
