PokerStars Caribbean Adventure 2004 - Day 3
We're done for the evening (about 1:00 AM local time). We are down to 43 players and there have been some dramatic swings in the last hour.
The new chip leader is Hoyt Corkins, the WPT winner from Foxwoods, who has 137K chips. Michael Benedetto has 130K. Shawn Rice has about 100K chips. Daniel Negreanu has 108K. Paul Wolfe was down to 3500. His pocket queens ran into quad nines, a straight ran into a flush, and he had a set of jacks run into Surinder Sunar's flush. But he managed to hang onto that short stack of chips, and has built it back up to 85K.
Other notables:
Bill Gazes: 60K
Kristy Gazes (the only woman left in the tournament) - 30K
Chris Ferguson: 63K
Howard Lederer: 33K
Surinder Sunar: 13K
The action will start at 7:00 PM tomorrow.
With warmest regards,
Lee Jones
