The world's biggest and best poker site is bringing live poker to the Czech Republic and Slovakia with Season 1 of the PokerStars.com Czech-Slovak Poker Tour (CSPT)! Following in the footsteps of events like the European Poker Tour (EPT) and Asia Pacific Poker Tour (APPT), the CSPT sees major live poker tournaments held at the most prestigious venues in the region, with huge cash prizes on the line - including a guaranteed prize pool of CZK 1,222,222 at each event. See below to find out how you can qualify now with PokerStars satellites.

In addition to cash prizes and the CSPT Championship title, you'll also be playing for points at each event. Players that score big and finish in the top 32 on the points Leaderboard after all four events are complete will advance to a special season finale tournament, to play for a CZK 500,000 prize pool!

Each stop on the tour will also include live super satellites and side events. Visit the structure page to find out full details of each individual tournament.

How to Qualify

PokerStars is running CSPT satellites now for just a few dollars. Go to the CSPT satellites page to find out how you can make it to one of the live events. To register, open the PokerStars lobby, click 'Tourney' and 'Regional'.

Season 1 Highlights

Bratislava | 138 players | €64,225 prize pool | 1st: Jonas Sorensen (€17,000)

Denmark’s Jonas Sorensen won the CSPT Bratislava title in December, 2009, besting one of the biggest fields on the tour yet for prize money of €17,000. He won after beating Slovakian Ján Svočák heads-up when he hit two pair on the final hand with K-2.

Brno | 131 players | CZK 1,521,028 prize pool | 1st: Martin Hrubý (CZK 380,257)

Local player and PokerStars qualifier Martin Hrubý won CSPT Brno, after beating Jiří Halouzka heads-up to take the title. Hrubý adds CZK 380,257 in prize money to an improving poker resume, which also includes a second place finish in a WCOOP $1,050 event.

Ostrava | 88 players | CZK 1,222,222 prize pool | 1st: Andrej Cintula (CZK 333,000)

The CSPT moved to Ostrava for the second event in September, 2009, with Andrej Cintula taking the title and first place prize money of CZK 333,000. A 23-year-old student from the Slovak Republic, Andrej beat field of 88 players to become the latest CSPT Champion.

Prague | 122 players | CZK 1,491,084 prize pool | 1st: Lukas Horak (CZK 340,000)

The first ever Czech Slovak Poker Tour event took place at the Card Casino Prague and was won by Lukas Horak. Horak was chip leader when the final table started and he maintained that position all the way to the finish line, beating Martin Pecha in heads-up play.
