European Poker Tour - Season 6

European Poker Tour

Season 6 of the European Poker Tour (EPT) drew to a stunning close in Monte Carlo, as the best players in the world gathered to compete for millions of Euros and celebrate the conclusion of another hugely successful season. The EPT is the world’s biggest and richest live poker tour and continues to go from strength to strength.

It was 23-year old Nicolas Chouity from Lebanon who took down the €10,600 Main Event, collecting €1,700,000 in first place prize money from a total prize pool of €8,480,000. The PokerStars qualifier dominated the closing stages of the tournament, amassing a huge chip lead before knocking out all but one of his final table opponents. Martin Hruby was the highest-placed Team PokerStars Pro, claiming €50,000 for 22nd place.

The €25,500 High Roller event attracted another star-studded field, and saw German player Tobias Reinkemeier claim victory and the first prize of €956,000. The Grand Final also hosted the EPT Awards ceremony, with EPT Kiev winner Max Lykov taking Player of the Year.

Details of Season 7 of the European Poker Tour will be released soon, so keep checking back for updates.
