PokerStars is pleased to announce Season 4 of the Eureka Poker Tour, bringing the big game poker experience to Central Europe once again. Season 4 of the Eureka Poker Tour, the fastest growing Tour in the region, builds on the success of the first three seasons and brings you top-level competition. You can win prize packages that give you everything you need for a great poker trip, exclusively on PokerStars.

This exciting live poker series visits top poker destinations around the region, with stops announced in Vienna, Rozvadov and Prague. Each event will be a true festival of poker with a range side events plus the big-money Main Event. The tournaments will take place in prestigious venues at every stop, and Europe’s best players, including Team PokerStars Pros like Martin Hruby and will complete for hundreds of thousands of Euros.

How to Find Eureka Satellites

Once you’ve found the Eureka Poker Tour satellite you want to take part in, simply register and play. Win a prize package and you’ll be booking your trip, which can include everything you need to take part, such as Main Event buy-in, accommodation and money for expenses.

Season 4 of the Eureka Poker Tour bowed out in unforgettable fashion in Prague, as 1,738 players came together to form the biggest tournament in the tour’s history. On an international final table, with no less than seven countries represented, it was Hungary’s Balazs Botond who came out on top, earning €206,948 following a three-way deal with Ayman Zbib (€163,921) and Athanasios Xenodochidis (€186,881).

PokerStars King’s Cup

King’s Cup| 551 Players | €267,235 Prize Pool | 1st Philipp Hartmann (€45,000)

Germany’s Philipp Hartmann turned a final table chip lead into €45,000 in Rozvadov, where he was crowned winner of the PokerStars King’s Cup. Held at the renowned King’s Casino, the event attracted 551 players, and it was Hartmann who left with the widest smile on his face, thanks to winning the title following a three-way deal with Pavel Novotny (3rd for €29,856) and Daniel Effendy (2nd for €29,856).

Rozvadov

Rozvadov | 493 Players | 500,000 Prize Pool | 1st Martin Meciar ( 87,600 )

Martin Meciar turned a final table big stack into Slovakia’s first-ever Eureka Poker Tour victory and €87,600 in prize money in Rozvadov. After eliminating four of his final table competitors, Meciar agreed on a heads-up deal with Belgium’s Michael-David Passy, before going on to claim his first live event title. In total, 493 players participated in Rozvadov, but it was PokerStars qualifier, Meciar, who left clutching the trophy.

Vienna | 1,432 Players | 1,389,040 Prize Pool | 1st Zoltan Gal ( 208,655 )

PokerStars qualifier, Zoltan Gal, became Season 4’s first big-money winner after topping a mammoth 1,432-strong field in Vienna - a record field for the tour. Gal, who came into the final table as one of the shorter stacks, beat Austria’s Andreas Freund heads-up for a career-best €208,655. In the final hand, the Hungarian’s pocket tens held over Freund’s pocket eights for all the chips.
