Latin American Poker Tour (LAPT) Season 3

Martin Sansour wins LAPT Season 3 Grand Final!
LAPT Season 3 drew to an exciting close with the Grand Final in Rosario, Argentina, with PokerStars qualifier Martin Sansour taking the title and $322,280 for his victory. A field of 258 players took part in total, helping to create an impressive $1,176,200 prize pool. It was a fitting end to a season that saw a total of 1,572 players from around the world compete at events across the Latin American continent, including hundreds of online qualifiers. It proved to be the biggest season yet, with millions of dollars paid out, and new stars of the game created at every stop along the way.
The standout performance in Season 3 came from Team PokerStars Pro Jose Ignacio Barbero. First he took down the Punta del Este Main Event for a cash of $279,330. He then made history by becoming the first-ever player to win two LAPT titles when he won the Lima Main Event for another huge payday of $250,000. Other new Champions crowned in Season 3 included Amer Sulaiman in Playa Conchal ($172,095) and Matthias Habernig in Florianopolis (R$435,000).
