What is a marketing code?
Marketing or bonus codes are used by our marketing department to see where our players come from. For example, if you found out about PokerStars via a magazine, that magazine might ask you to enter a specific marketing code, and we really appreciate it when you do! By tracking these codes, we can gain a better understanding of our players, and improve our service to you. If you don’t have a PokerStars marketing code, don’t worry, you don’t need one when signing up at PokerStars - just follow the instructions during the sign up process.
Does PokerStars offer a bonus?
Yes, PokerStars does offer a deposit bonus, and you can take advantage of this the first time you make a deposit. The deposit bonus is a great way to increase your bankroll just by putting money in your account – and then starting to play! You don’t need to use a bonus code when first signing up at PokerStars in order to receive the first deposit bonus. You enter the PokerStars bonus code when you deposit using the Cashier, once you have already signed up.

When you make your first-ever real money deposit at PokerStars, we will give you a 100% bonus - up to $600. You don’t need to enter the bonus code when signing up, just enter it when you go to the Cashier to deposit money for the first time. When making your first deposit, remember to enter the bonus code ‘Stars600’. In order to receive your bonus, you just need to play on PokerStars and collect the number of VPPs equal to 17 times the bonus amount. You can make up to three qualifying deposits in 90 days (up to a total of $600). The bonus is released in $10 increments, each released into your account as you clear the needed VPPs (170 VPPs for every $10 increment).
