- Do I have to have a poker web site to be an affiliate?
- Yes, the PokerStars affiliate program does require that you have a web site in order to be an affiliate, although it does not have to be a poker web site. We do not currently support off-line referrals.
- Is there a time limit on how quickly a player must earn the 100 Frequent Player Points (FPPs)?
- No, at this time there is no time limit. You earn credit for the qualified referral in the month in which the player earns his 100th FPP no matter when the account was initially created.
- My friend already plays poker on PokerStars for play money, can I earn credit for him if he starts playing poker for real money?
- No, only one account is allowed per player and existing accounts are not able to be signed up under your poker affiliate code.
- Can I offer books, DVDs or cash to my referrals in order to get them to sign up with PokerStars?
- No, PokerStars does not allow additional incentives to be offered directly by our poker affiliates. Due to our privacy policy and other concerns, we do not reveal the names of players who sign up under your affiliate code. This policy makes it difficult, if not impossible, for affiliate sites to offer direct compensation, and we recommend that you choose an alternative method of attracting new customers to our site.
- Do you offer revenue share or allow rake-back?
- No, PokerStars does not offer revenue share nor do we plan to. Due to this fact, as well as our privacy policy and other concerns we do not allow rake-back either.
- Do you have a sign-up bonus for new players?
- From time to time PokerStars does offer a sign-up bonus, please visit our promotions page for current bonus details. We also offer poker's richest rewards program, the PokerStars VIP Club.
