The 4th Annual PokerStars Caribbean Adventure kicked off the poker year in style from January 4-11 at the exquisite Atlantis Resort and Casino in the Bahamas. It was an event to remember, with 937 entrants and more than $7,000,000 in the prize pool. PokerStars has a proud tradition of creating millionaire champions, and this official WPT tournament was just another example. The PokerStars Caribbean Adventure featured some world class poker, and it was PokerStars Supernova Ryan Daut, who eventually walked away with the first place finish and a cool $1.5 million first prize. Our second millionaire was Canadian Quillan Nagel who came out on top in the Moneymaker Millionaire Freeroll. Last summer, all PokerStars players were given a free entry ticket. A.It was quite easy for me to make it Supernova this year, actually. I just played a high volume of games like I usually do and it was done! As for the Supernova Elite status, it could be much harder. I'm focusing on it a lot right now. I really hope I will be the first one to reach Elite status. I'll do my best to achieve it.
