Ante Up For Africa Europe Charity Tournament

Help raise money for charity at EPT Monte Carlo

PokerStars is proud to be hosting the first Ante Up For Africa (AUFA) Europe charity poker tournament, being held as part of the EPT Monte Carlo Grand Final. The event will include a star-studded field of celebrities and pro players, all helping to raise money and awareness for the crisis in Darfur, Sudan. We want you to be there to show your support, so we are giving you the chance to go to Monte Carlo and play in this prestigious event.

The tournament will take place April 27, the day before the start of the Grand Final. All prize money will be donated to organizations like Not On Our Watch and Enough - both of which provide valuable aid and assistance for victims of the Darfur crisis. The winner will be awarded a 2010 PokerStars Caribbean Adventure prize package!

Team PokerStars Pro played at last summer’s AUFA, including Daniel Negreanu and Joe Hachem, which was held in Las Vegas They sat alongside the biggest names in the entertainment world, including Ben Affleck, Matt Damon, Ray Romano, Don Cheadle and Friend of PokerStars Jason Alexander.

How to be a part of AUFA

You can be part of this live event by winning your seat with our exclusive qualifiers. All players that have qualified for the EPT Monte Carlo via PokerStars satellites will be invited to enter our AUFA freeroll final, taking place Sunday, April 19, at 15:30 ET. The final will award two seats at the AUFA event, plus $1,000 for expenses.

ALL players from Italy and France can also win their seat at the event. We’re running daily freeroll qualifiers at 14:00 ET, from April 15-18, with seats up for grabs in the freeroll final for players who finish in places 1-9.
