Americas Cup of Poker - Terms & Conditions
- Any player who attempts to register for qualifiers for more than one country, state, or province team will be disqualified from Americas Cup of Poker play. PokerStars may require proof of residence from any player at any time during the competition.
- All tournaments associated with the PokerStars Americas Cup of Poker (the "Event") will be No Limit Hold'em.
- Entrants must be 18 or older, or the legal age of majority in their jurisdiction. All players may be required to produce proof of age and residence (passport or other valid picture ID).
- By participating in a qualifier of any kind on PokerStars, or in the Event, you grant PokerStars the right to use your name and likeness for promotional purposes without further compensation.
- During the Event, strict rules regarding player behavior will be enforced. These may include penalties, up to and including disqualification, for foul language, abuse of dealers, players or any other person during the Event, or any other behavior that PokerStars, in its sole judgment, believes to be detrimental to its conduct of the Event.
- Alternates
If a player is unable to travel to the live final in Uruguay, for any reason, such as passport or visa(s) issues, then PokerStars reserves the right to replace that team member or the entire team, at our sole discretion and without compensation to the player(s). In general, players will be replaced by the next highest scoring individuals from the qualifying tournament series. - The Americas Cup of Poker will be held in Punta del Este, Uruguay on the dates of August 8th and 9th. The location and date are subject to change, at the sole discretion of PokerStars, without compensation to players.
- All qualifying tournaments will be limited to a maximum of 12,000 players, on a first-come first-served basis.
- One account per player. Any player using multiple accounts during qualifying tournaments will be disqualified.
- Poker is an individual game and players are expected to act in their own best interests at all times. Any “Soft” play will result in immediate disqualification from the ACP and further penalties may be applied to all players involved.
