Now in its fourth year, the British Columbia Poker Championships (BCPC) at the River Rock Resort and Casino is widely recognized as one of Canada’s most popular live poker events. Combining the beautiful scenery of Vancouver with one of Canada’s most popular gaming resorts makes the BCPC a poker player’s dream.
For the first time ever you can qualify for the BCPC on PokerStars. Play in our BCPC satellites and you can win a $4,500 tournament package which includes your Main Event buy-in, hotel accommodation, travel expenses, and a welcome party exclusively for PokerStars qualifiers.
Direct Buy-In Information
Players who would like to register in advance for the BCPC (and be guaranteed a seat) should email registrations@pokerstars.com to receive instructions on sending their payment by wire transfer or bank draft. Players may purchase event entry with or without an accommodation package (based on availability).
The deadline for advanced payment by wire is approximately two weeks prior to the event.

Directions from the airport
From the airport follow the signs leading to Richmond then turn left onto the #3 road to River Road. The River Rock Resort is a 10 minute drive from the airport.
Passport/Visa
Residents of many European countries and the United States of America do not require a visa to visit Canada as a tourist. Please check with your embassy before travelling. American players do not require a passport to travel to Canada and may enter using a certified birth certificate.
