The Challenge - Turning $5 into $100,000!

PokerStars player 'Boku87' has achieved some impressive results during his poker career. He was a Supernova Elite in 2007, successfully completed a challenge to turn $100 into $10,000 in just 14 days, and finished 14th at the European Poker Tour (EPT) Monte Carlo Grand Final in 2008. But now he faces his biggest challenge yet!

His goal is to turn $5 into a staggering $100,000 in just 12 months. This will be a true test of not only his poker skills, but also bankroll management - $5 doesn’t allow for much play without the risk of going bust! 'Boku87' will be completing The Challenge exclusively on PokerStars.com, starting out with $0.10 Sit & Go tournaments and $0.02/$0.04 Fixed Limit cash games. Once his bankroll begins to build, he can start playing $0.25 Sit & Go’s, before moving up to $1.10 Sit & Go’s once his bankroll allows it. From there, he has the option of playing $1.75 18-man Sit & Go’s and $3 Sit & Go’s, before moving to bigger buy-ins once he builds his bankroll to roughly 70-80 buy-ins in the next level up. ‘Boku87’ will be playing for about eight hours every day to try and reach that magical $100,000 mark as fast as possible.
