Calling all players in North America. You can qualify now for one of the most prestigious live events in the US for just a few bucks. There are Empire State Hold’em Championship satellites running now, giving you a shot at winning a prize package that includes your $2,500 buy-in to the Main Event, money for expenses and hotel accommodation for six nights!
The two-week long poker festival starts on August 8, with the Main Event running August 14-18. There are 24 events in total, with everything from deep-stack turbo and bounty tournaments to cash games running non-stop. The venue is the Turning Stone Casino Resort Hotel in Verona, New York State, with luxury rooms, quality restaurants, bars, a wide selection of casino games, a PGA-standard golf course and more. It’s the ideal place for some great poker action, and perfect for chilling out when you’re away from the tables. Check below for the full schedule of events.
On August 13th, discover the art of poker strategy by game theory expert Vanessa Rousso and join her at her renowned Boot Camp. How to Play the Empire State Hold’em Satellites
There are Empire State Poker Championship satellites running now in a range of different buy-ins that suit players of all levels, each with Main Event prize packages up for grabs. To register, open the PokerStars lobby, click ‘Events’ & ‘Special’.

Please Note: Registration for each event opens one hour prior to the start. Please arrive at registration 30 mins before the start of the tournament. Players must have a ‘Diamond Card’ Players Club card and valid ID to register and play. 3% of each prize pool will be withheld for tournament staff.
