PokerStars Baltic Festival – Terms and Conditions

The following are the terms and conditions of the Baltic Festival promotion ("Promotion"), as organized by the operator ("PokerStars") of the Internet site found at www.pokerstars.com (the "Site") and of the PokerStars GUI software (the "Client"). Your logging on to the Client shall be deemed to be your complete acceptance of the terms and conditions herein.

1. Entrants must be 21 years of age or of legal age of majority in their jurisdiction (whichever the greater) to participate in the Promotion. You may be asked at any stage to provide PokerStars or a third party with proof of age and/or identity. All players must be able to present a valid passport or other valid picture ID to verify their age and/or identity. Any player unable to produce such proof of age will be excluded from the Client.
2. Parts of this promotion are open only to players that are living in Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland, Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia or Iceland (including Greenland, Aland Islands and Faroe Islands). These parts consist of the daily freerolls and daily €1.10 tournaments. The weekly €215 and €33 satellites are open to everyone eligible to play on the site, as are the daily €22 satellites.
3. By participating in the Promotion, you are deemed to have granted PokerStars the right to use your name, likeness, voice and image in marketing and promotion campaigns in any media whatsoever without further compensation and you expressly waive any claims against PokerStars in this regard.
4. Any player who reaches the live event in Tallinn will be required to wear PokerStars logo gear. You further agree to help promote PokerStars and act as a PokerStars spokesperson during and after the Events, including, but not limited to, meeting with press and participating in other events conducted by PokerStars.
5. Employees and relatives of employees of PokerStars and any entities affiliated or related to PokerStars are not permitted to participate in the Promotion. For these purposes, the term "relative" shall mean spouse, partner, parent, child or sibling.
6. The Promotion will run from April 26 until June 9 2010.
7. By participating in the Promotion, each entrant agrees to release, discharge and hold harmless PokerStars, their legal representatives, their affiliates, subsidiaries, agencies and their respective officers, directors, employees and agents, from any damages whatsoever, including any personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with the acceptance of any prizes.
8. PokerStars reserves the right, at any time, to alter these terms and conditions at its sole discretion including to cancel, modify or suspend the Promotion if PokerStars believes that the Promotion is not capable of being conducted as specified.
9. All players participating in the Promotion must abide by all PokerStars rules, as well as the terms of service requirements as listed at www.pokerstars.com/poker/room/tos/, and by PokerStars general tournament rules listed at www.pokerstars.com/poker/tournaments/rules/.
10. During the Promotion, strict rules regarding player behaviour will be enforced. PokerStars reserves the right to take action against any player found to be abusing any aspect of the Promotion. Such action includes, but is not limited to, exclusion or suspension from the Promotion or from the Client, and the confiscation of rewards earned as a result of the abuse. The decision on what activity constitutes abuse of the Promotion lies with PokerStars management in its sole discretion.
11. The first package to any events that you win, whether through cash satellite, FPP satellite or in any other way, is non-transferable and non-exchangeable. If you win another satellite to the same event, your PokerStars account will be credited with T$ equal to the value of the package price.
12. When playing in the Promotion you confirm that the name and address which are registered in your PokerStars account are correct and up to date.
13. Non-cash prizes are neither transferable nor exchangeable.
14. In the event that for any reason whatsoever a winning entrant does not take an element of a prize at a time stipulated by PokerStars, such winning entrant shall be deemed to have forefeited his/her claim to such prize and PokerStars shall not have any obligation to compensate the winning entrant in any way.
15. In the case of disputes in regards to the participation rights, all matters relating to the awarding of the prizes and or the terms and conditions, the final decision lies with PokerStars management. The decision will be binding and shall not be subject to review or appeal by an entrant or any third party.
16. These terms and conditions and matters relating hereto shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with Isle of Man law and shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Isle of Man courts.
