Win a PokerStars Passport

The PokerStars Passport is the ultimate live event package that gives you the chance to live the life of a globe-trotting poker player, travelling around the world to represent PokerStars at the biggest events on the circuit. If you win a passport the possibilities are endless. Not only do you get to experience some of the world's most fascinating destinations, you also get to play big money poker when you get there.

You can use the passport to travel to places like Barcelona, Monte Carlo, Sydney, Macau and many more. Or how about taking a trip to Paradise Island in The Bahamas for the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure? The choice is yours. What's more, hotel accommodation and money for expenses is included for every event you decide to go to.

Here's the full list of PokerStars tours you can use your passport to play at. Click any of the tour names below to find out which countries they make stops in.

Each PokerStars Passport comes with a number of stamps, which tells you how many events you can use it for. For example, if you win a five-stamp passport, this means you have the choice of five different events. If you do win a passport you better make sure you use it soon, because it's only valid for one year after the date it is awarded.

How to win a PokerStars Passport

You can win a PokerStars Passport by scoring big on the Yearly Tournament Leader Board or by taking part in our Annual PokerStars Passport promotion. We'll also be giving away extra passports throughout the year, so check back regularly.

The following players all won PokerStars Passports in 2008. Click on any of the names to keep track of the latest news and results from the events they choose to play.

Shaun 'shaundeeb' Deeb

Online tournament specialist 'shaundeeb' won a five-stamp PokerStars Passport for winning the Yearly TLB. He also finished at the top in 2007 with 34,869 points, but upped his game in 2008 to achieve a score of 42,197. He's stated that he won't be trying for a third straight TLB win - instead he'll be focussing on playing well at the live events his PokerStars Passport takes him to.

'derek8'

Sitting at the top of the TLB for most of the year, 'derek8' just missed out on winning when he was overtaken by 'shaundeeb' in the final few months. His second place finish was still good enough to win a 3-stamp PokerStars Passport, potentially worth more than $50,000 depending on the events he chooses to play at.

'BreakRibs'

A regular name on PokerStars tables for many years, 'BreakRibs' wins a 2-stamp PokerStars Passport for his third place finish on the yearly TLB. He's already played at several European Poker Tour events - experience that will prove to be invaluable when he hits the road to look for that big score with his PokerStars Passport.

Phillip 'phillyJbizee' Byers

Supernova player Phillip 'phillyjbizee' Byers got his passport after winning January's final for players who finished in places 1-100 on the monthly TLB for December 2008, after squeezing into the top 100 with a 98th place finish. He wins a full five-stamp PokerStars Passport, giving him the chance to play for huge cash prizes at some of the biggest live events on the circuit.

'delfino'

Italian player 'delfino' won a 4-stamp PokerStars Passport for finishing 2nd in the 1-100 group final. He and eventual winner 'phillyjbizee' made a deal when they got heads up, deciding that both will get a 4-stamp passport, with the winner getting an extra stamp. He didn't win, but his passport still gives 'delfino' the chance to make it big on the live scene.

'Bruno GT'

Brazilian player 'Bruno GT' is one of PokerStars most prolific players, and finished 3rd in the 1-100 final, after finishing 14th on the Monthly TLB. He wins a 1-stamp PokerStars Passport for his efforts, and will be using his experience to make a play for glory at whatever live event he decides to use his passport for.

'AOthegreat8'

After finishing in 190th place on the Monthly TLB, American 'AOthegreat8' took down the final for players finishing in places 101-200 on the Yearly TLB. He wins a 1-stamp PokerStars Passport and will be looking to turn it into a huge victory at the live event of his choice.

Ronald 'jus2awsum' Lee

Ronald 'jus2awsum' Lee turned a 278th place on the Monthly TLB into a 1-stamp PokerStars Passport when he won the final for players finishing in places 201-500. The American player battled for four hours in the final, and is now ready to take his shot in a major live event.

'MangosPapa'

'MangosPapa' got his chance to experience a PokerStars Passport after finishing 625th on the December TLB and then going on to win the 501-1000 group final. He plans to use his 1-stamp passport to enter the Big Dance in Las Vegas this summer - the World Series of Poker* Main Event.
