PokerStars Passport FAQ
- What is the Tournament Leader Board?
- Every time you place in the top 15% of a PokerStars multi-table tournament, you are awarded points for your performance. The Tournament Leader Boards display the players who have earned the most points over a set time period. The weekly, monthly and annual leader boards are based on a certain number of events during that time period. This promotion is based on the leader board for December and will count your best twenty results for that period. To learn more about PokerStars' Tournament Leader Boards, click here.
- How do I take part in this promotion?
- You can compete for the PokerStars Passport prizes simply by taking part in PokerStars' multi-table tournaments throughout 2009. There is no additional entry fee or registration process.
- What does the Grand Prize winner of the PokerStars Passport receive?
- A PokerStars Passport consists of a number of stamps. Each stamp entitles the holder to enter a different live event, all of which include the same benefits as are included in the standard tournament entry package as offered on the PokerStars.com site. This includes the tournament buy-in, a standard hotel room for the duration of the tournament and a fixed allowance for traveling costs.
- Are there any special requirements for the winners of the PokerStars Passport?
- The winners of the PokerStars Passport packages will be required to wear PokerStars clothing during the live tournaments in which they decide to play.
- I am under 21. Which tournaments can I play in if I win the PokerStars Passport?
- The majority of events on the EPT, LAPT and APPT are open to players that are 18 years of age (with some exceptions).
- Will the winner of the PokerStars Passport be on Team PokerStars Pro?
- Like all PokerStars' live tournament qualifiers, the winner of the PokerStars Passport will be representing Team PokerStars. However, the winner will not become a Team PokerStars Pro.
