What is the PokerStars Poker Camp?
The PokerStars Poker Camp is a three day, hands-on, learning experience. The camps are headlined by Team PokerStars Pros and combine intermediate and advanced level instruction with the glamorous destinations of our poker tour events.
Which types of poker games will be covered at the PCA Bahamas Poker Camp?
The PCA Bahamas Camp will focus exclusively on No-Limit Hold’em, particularly deep-stack, slow structure, live tournament play. While many of the concepts will be transferable to other poker variations, this Camp aims to prepare participants for PokerStars live tournaments.
What languages will Camp instruction be in?
Instruction will be in English only.
How can I win a Poker Camp Package?
PokerStars is running daily satellites to weekly final tournaments that will award Poker Camp Packages. For tournament details, please refer to PCA Poker Camp Landing Page.
How much is a Camp package?
Camp packages are valued at $4,500. The seat includes four nights accommodation, $500 room credit for food, three days of Camp instruction, a Camp tournament ticket worth $500, and a $1,000 cash credit to your account to help cover travel expenses.
My package included $1,000 cash. What's that for?
The $1,000 (which has been credited to your PokerStars account) is for airfare and other travel expenses.
What is included in the meal plan?
We will credit your hotel room with $500 to be used at any of the Atlantis restaurants over the course of your stay in The Bahamas. The hotel will also give you an extra $75 to be spent for the same purpose. IMPORTANT NOTE: The funds will appear on the hotel folio on the third day of your stay, but you can start using it as soon as you check-in. Any unused portion of these funds above $10 (minus 15% offered by the Hotel) will be credited back to PokerStars accounts after hotel reconciliation is completed. This will take at least five months to complete.
Does the Poker Camp package include entry to the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure?
No, the Poker Camp package does not include entry into the PCA tournament.
Can I sell my seat if I win?
No. If you are fortunate enough to win additional seats, you can transfer the extras to your friends and family.
Can I purchase a Poker Camp Package?
Yes, there are four (4) ways in which you can purchase a package:
- From your PokerStars account
  
  We are allowing players to buy the Poker Camp Package (including Hotel+Food Credit+Camp Tournament) directly from their PokerStars account. Simply go to the Events > Special in the PokerStars Lobby, then chose event 118751613, “Poker Camp [Bahamas]: Direct Buy-Ins”.
  
  Note: Should you choose to register for this event, you will not be able to automatically unregister to this Event. If you wish to unregister, you will need to email registrations@pokerstars.com.
- By Wire
  
  Simply email registrations@pokerstars.com and we will provide instructions for sending a $3,500 wire.
  
  Note: This option is only open to PokerStars players.
- With W$
  
  Provided you are a PlatinumStar VIP or higher. For more details contact registrations@pokerstars.com, stating for which event you want to register.
  
  Note: Packages purchased with W$ will not include the $1,000 cash for expenses.
- With FPPs
  
  Provided you are a PlatinumStar VIP or higher, you may buy a Poker Camp package using your FPPs. For more details please contact vipclub@pokerstars.com.
Will there be other poker games and tournaments I can play while in The Bahamas?
Yes. There will be cash games of various limits and a selection of other tournaments you can play. A schedule of tournaments can be found here.
Will I have access to my PokerStars account to get cash while I'm attending the Camp?
We will make best effort to provide cash outs from PokerStars accounts at the PCA. There will be limited hours each day during which you will be able to get some money from your PokerStars account. The amount you can withdraw will be limited by the cash we have on hand at the event, so we will limit individual withdrawals accounting for demand.

Please note that some countries require players to declare the amount of cash they have on them. For example you have to declare if you are bringing in more than $10,000 into the US. It is not illegal to carry more than $10,000 BUT it is illegal not to declare it. For more details please contact your country's Customs & Excise.
I won a Poker Camp package! What do I do now?
You will receive an email from pokercamp@pokerstars.com within a few days of winning your seat. This email will direct you to our registration site where you can complete your registration for the event. This must be completed as we cannot book your hotel room without this required information.

Please note that this email will go to the email address you have on file with PokerStars. Make sure that pokercamp@pokerstars.com (and preferably all emails from the PokerStars.com domain) is permitted via your email spam filter. If you do NOT respond to the registration email, your reservations WILL NOT BE MADE. If you have not received an email from us within 5 days of your win, send an email to pokercamp@pokerstars.com, including a phone number where we can follow up with you.

Will there be other Poker Camps?
