- What is the PokerStars Poker Camp?
- The PokerStars Poker Camp is a two-day, hands-on, learning experience. The camp is headlined by Team PokerStars Pros and combines intermediate and advanced level instruction with the glamorous destination of Monte Carlo.
- Which types of poker games will be covered at the EPT Monte Carlo Camp?
- The EPT Monte Carlo Camp will focus exclusively on No-Limit Hold’em, particularly deep stack, slow structure, live tournament play. While many of the concepts will be transferable to other poker variations, the EPT Monte Carlo camp aims to prepare participants for the EPT Monte Carlo Grand Final tournament.
- What languages will camp instruction be in?
- Instruction will be in English only.
- How can I win a Poker Camp Package?
- PokerStars is running daily satellites to weekly final tournaments that will award Poker Camp Packages. For tournament details, please refer to Poker Camp Monte Carlo landing page.
- How many seats will there be in the Camp?
- The Camp is limited to 40 participants to ensure personal attention through a high instructor-attendee ratio.
- How much is a Camp package worth?
- Camp packages are valued at nearly $4,000. The seat includes three nights accommodation, two days camp instruction, breakfast and lunch during the camp and $1,000 in cash for spending money. It also includes a seat in the camp tournament worth over $1,000.
- My package included $1,000 spending money. What's that for?
- The spending money (which has been credited to your PokerStars account) is to help cover the costs of travel and other expenses.
- Can I purchase a Poker Camp package?
- The majority of Camp seats can only be won through online qualification tournaments at PokerStars. A small number of seats will be available for PokerStars VIPs through the VIP store or through contacting registrations@pokerstars.com.
- Does the Poker Camp seat include entry to the EPT Monte Carlo Grand Final tournament?
- No, the Poker Camp seat does not include entry into the EPT Monte Carlo Grand Final. However, the camp tournament will award two EPT Monte Carlo packages to the top two finishers.
- Can I sell my seat if I win?
- No. If you are fortunate enough to win additional seats, you can transfer the extras to your friends and family.
- I won! What do I do now?
- You will receive an email from PokerStars describing the basics of the package and telling you what to do next. You will also receive a "follow up" email just prior to the event.
- Will I have access to my PokerStars account to get cash while I'm attending the Camp?
- No. Please bring all the cash you need for incidentals and side play.
- s my food included in the price of the trip?
- Breakfast and lunch will be included as part of the package but you will be responsible for further food costs.
- I have won a PokerStars Poker Camp prize package - can I bring a guest?
- Yes, your hotel room will be booked as double accommodation, however the Camp instruction and lunch are only provided for prize package winners.
- I have won a PokerStars Poker Camp prize package - do I have a hotel reservation?
- Yes. Your hotel room will be booked in your name by PokerStars for the specified dates. If you need to extend or amend your stay, you must contact the hotel directly. PokerStars cannot do this for you.
- Will there be other Poker Camps?
- Other Camps are being planned for the marquee stops on PokerStars poker tours.
