Highlights from Previous PokerStars Women Live Events
PokerStars and Monte-Carlo®Casino EPT Grand Final 2013 Ladies Event
The Czech Republic’s Irina Batorevich won the ladies event at the PokerStars and Monte-Carlo®Casino EPT Grand Final for €10,300 (reflecting a chop when play got to heads-up). Female players from no less than five different countries were represented at the final table, with 35 runners taking part in total.
PCA 2013
The PokerStars Women Live tournament returned to The Bahamas in January, where Corina Lupascu took home the trophy and $22,420. Corina saw off tough competition to grab the win, beating the likes of Xuan Liu and Jamie Kerstetter en route to victory.
EPT Barcelona Season 9
The ladies-only event at the Season 9 EPT festival in Barcelona was won by Liya Gerasimova. The girlfriend of Team PokerStars Pro Ivan Demidov, Liya beat a field of 63 runners to book the win for a payday of €10,700. The final table also included Team Pro’s Charlotte Van Brabander, and another appearance from the winner of the last event, Leo Margets.
PokerStars and Monte-Carlo®Casino EPT Grand Final Ladies Event
A star-studded field turned out for the women’s tournament in Monaco, with Spain’s Leo Margets coming out on top for prize money of €16,850. Team PokerStars Pro’s very own Victoria Coren finished as runner-up, just missing out on the title. There was also a final table appearance from EPT London ladies event winner Jan Combes, who cashed for €6,380.
PokerStars Caribbean Adventure (PCA) 2012
The female-only tournament series returned to The Bahamas in January 2012 for the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure (PCA), and is was Kathy Saraf from the USA who took the title and first place prize money of $25,460. She beat Lauren Kling heads-up, who incredibly also finished as runner-up in the same event a year earlier.
EPT London 2011
Jan Combes won the EPT Season 8 London women’s event after qualifying via a $44 PokerStars online satellite. She bested a field stacked with big name Team PokerStars Pros, including Vanessa Selbst and Vicky Coren, and other great players from around the world to take home the title and prize money of £8,700.
PokerStars Women's Live EPT Madrid Grand Final
Held as part of the EPT Season 7 finale in Madrid, the tournament saw women from around the world compete for the title. In the end it was local player Sara Mariani who won, taking away prize money of €11,600 for beating a final table that included Team PokerStars Pro Victoria Coren and Friend of PokerStars Charlotte Van Brabander.
PokerStars Caribbean Adventure (PCA)
The PokerStars Women’s Caribbean Adventure was held in January 2011 as part of the PCA in The Bahamas. Almost 100 players took part, including Team PokerStars Pros like Victoria Coren and Fatima Moreira de Melo, plus celebrities like US chat show host Ricki Lake. Poker blogger Kristin Bihr won, taking home prize money of $29,798.

EPT London 2010
PokerStars Women Live held a special event as part of the European Poker Tour (EPT) London festival in September 2010. Team PokerStars Pros like Sandra Naujoks, Celina Lin and many others took part, but it was France’s Anais Lerouge who won, after besting a packed field to claim first place prize money of £11,050.

PokerStars Women Live events and all related satellites are restricted to female participants only. Only the player named on a winning account may take the PokerStars Women Live package. The prize cannot be exchanged, refunded or transferred. The gender for all package winners will be verified by passport or government-issued ID, and any male qualifiers will be disqualified. Men who enter the online satellite qualifiers will be ineligible to win any prizes, and will be disqualified from the target events without compensation. In matters regarding a winner's eligibility, PokerStars Management decision is final.
