Play Poker for Real Money Using Dankort
How can I make purchases at PokerStars using Dankort?
Please note that Dankort deposits will be processed by Moneybookers but you do not have to hold a Moneybookers account to make a Dankort deposit.
Dankort is fully integrated via the PokerStars cashier screen. When you click on "Cashier" and then on "Buy Chips", you will see an option to use Dankort. Click on the “Dankort” button and then on the “Deposit” button. Enter the amount you wish to deposit, in DKK. Please also enter a bonus code if you have one, and then click "Submit". A new window will open where you will be asked to enter your Dankort card details. If the transaction is confirmed as successful, you will receive confirmation and your PokerStars account will be credited immediately. Deposits will be converted automatically to US$ equivalent using the current exchange rate.
Currently the purchase limits are:
- US $10 - minimum purchase
- US $600 - maximum amount to purchase within 24 hours
- US $1,500 - maximum amount to purchase within 7 days
- US $2,000 - maximum amount to purchase within 30 days
Purchase transactions are identified on your Dankort card statement as PStars.
What about my cashouts?
It is currently not possible to credit back to your Dankort card.
How does the exchange rate conversion work?
PokerStars uses Reuters exchange rates to convert deposits in DKK to USD. PokerStars does not charge a conversion fee!
How can I make a deposit into my PokerStars non-USD playing account?
PokerStars is now offering the ability for players to play tournaments and ring games in Euros, and to hold bankrolls in multiple currencies. PokerStars will not charge any fees for depositing into or cashing out of the new currency.
Currency conversions between bankrolls are carried out using the prevailing mid-market rate provided by Reuters, and are subject to a small fee.
What will it cost me to use Dankort at PokerStars?
PokerStars does not charge any fees for using Dankort cards. Players are responsible for any fees charged by their card issuer.
