Click to Launch Feature

Using Click-To-Launch Links

Some PokerStars web pages, emails and client messages include ‘click-to-launch’ links. Clicking on these links will take you directly to a specific area of the PokerStars game software. It’s a great way to quickly find what you are looking for and take full advantage of all the great features on offer.

Currently, all the important features and game types in the client have this feature enabled, including the Cashier, so look out for links to them as you read about the latest promotions and updates. We’ll also be adding the functionality to other areas of the software in the future, so make sure you keep checking back for updates.

Error Messages and Troubleshooting

Sometimes when you use a click-to-launch link, you may be given an error message (typically a pop-up box stating that ‘The requested link could not be opened. Click here to know more about PokerStars Click-to-launch feature.’).

This error message usually appears for the following reasons:

The URL is incorrect - if the URL is changed in any way, the link will not work. Therefore always ensure that you do not adapt the target URL of any link you want to use click-to-launch on.

You do not have access to that area of the game client - if, for example, you click on a link for a payment method that is not offered in your region, the link will not work.

See the main Special Features page for more about how to get the best out of your experience at the world’s largest poker site.
