Filtering and Sorting Features
At PokerStars we have powerful features in our game lobby to help you better navigate the available games and tournaments. Included here are detailed descriptions and instructions on how to use the system.
Filtering
In all of the lobbies, there is a 'Filter' below the list of games, allowing you to narrow down your selection to just the games you are looking for. To turn on the filter, simply click the button at the bottom left of the list of tables.

To turn the filter off again, simply click on the button once more. When the filter is switched on, you'll be presented with various options, shown in the image below.
Ring Game Filters

To remove a type of game from display, simply uncheck the appropriate box. For example, to remove 'Fast Tables' from display, uncheck the box next to 'Fast Tables'.
You can also filter by stakes. For example, if you only want to see games between the $2/$4 and $5/$10 limits, simply choose '$2/$4' in the 'Min' box, and '$5/$10' in the 'Max' box.
It's also possible to hide tables which are full, leaving only tables which are free to join immediately. To do so, simply check the 'Hide full tables' box.
Tourney Filters
The Tourney, Sit & Go and Events filters work in the same way as the Ring Game Filters, but have a few extra options.

Under 'Game', you can uncheck poker variations that you are not interested in playing. For example, if you only play Hold'em, you can uncheck all of the other options, and never be bothered by a weird Razz tournament ever again!
You can also choose to show or hide Freezeout tournaments (which do not allow rebuys), and Rebuy tournaments (which do); Cash, FPP and Play Money tournaments; as well as tournaments in various states of registration.
But perhaps the most powerful filter is the text filter. By entering text into the search box, you can quickly find the tournament you are looking for. Want to find the Sunday Million? Simply start typing 'Sunday Million' in the box, and the list will filter in real-time as you type.
To hide tournaments with certain keywords, simply preface them with a minus (-) sign. For example, to hide Turbo events, simply type '-Turbo'.
Advanced users might want to try a combination - for example, 'Sunday Million -to -satellite -replay' would show the Sunday Million, while hiding satellite events (which have the word 'to' or 'satellite' in their name) and replays.
Sorting
In all of the lobbies, if you right-click on the Header Bar (Game, Limit, ID, etc.), it will open a new window. In that window, you will be able to customize your sorting options. You can sort games in any number of ways you want.
First, you'll need to know where to right-click. You'll be looking for the bar that reads: Table/Stakes/Limit/Plrs/etc.

If you hold your mouse over any of the tabs on that bar and right click, a new window will appear. The new window will look like the picture below.

Now that you have this window open, you have the option of searching in just about any way you like. Notice, in the window below, the user has searched first by "Stakes," then by "Limit," then by "Avg Pot".

This function is available across the PokerStars spectrum. You can use it for ring games, multi-table tournaments, and Sit & Go tournaments.
Here's an example to get you started.
Example: Say you're looking for a tournament with the lowest possible buy-in that begins as soon as possible.
- Click "Tourney"
- Right click on the Header Bar that reads ID/Date/Game/etc. A new sorting window will open
- In the first sorting box, select "Buy-in" and "Ascending"
- In the second sorting box, select "Date" and "Ascending"
- Click "OK"
Clicking "OK" will effortlessly sort all of the available tournaments and give you the cheapest tournaments that start the soonest.
These sorting options let you take even more control over your poker game and find the ring games and tournaments you want even faster.
Buy-In Filter
If you don't want to swim through micro or high buy-in Sit & Gos to find the one you want, you only have to go to the Sit & Go lobby to find a list of options with choices for: All/High/Medium/Low/Micro/Rebuy/Turbo buy-ins. Scroll your mouse over each of the tabs and it will show you what dollar amount each level represents. Regular tournament lobbies and Hold'em ring game lobbies will also give you the option of filtering by buy-in. Below you'll see a small version of the limit tabs.
