Live Poker Tournaments
We know our players like to play in live "brick and mortar" casino poker tournaments as well as in our amazing array of online tournaments. We are pleased to occasionally offer satellites to selected prestigious live tournaments.
All satellites to the various live events can be found in our main lobby by clicking on the "Events" tab.
Exclusive offer to PokerStars frequent players
If you are a frequent PokerStars player with more than 10,000 lifetime Frequent Player Points we would like to offer you the option of using your W$ to buy directly into these events*. If you think you might qualify for this, please send email to support@pokerstars.com and ask them how many lifetime FPPs you have. If you meet this criterion, then you may purchase a seat in the events to which we provide satellites for W$ equivalent to the buy-in plus entry fee. Otherwise, you will have to win your seat via a PokerStars satellite. Please note, W$ buy-ins will only be available until the final day of PokerStars satellites to the event. VERY IMPORTANT:
If you are going to play in satellites to any live tournament, you need to know the rules and regulations. For instance:
- You can't sell or transfer a seat that you win, and you can't exchange it for
cash or W$. - You will have to wear PokerStars logo-wear throughout the event.
- If you intend to play in a satellite that directly awards a seat in a live event,
you must be old enough to play in that live event.
