Steps Sit & Go Tournaments at PokerStars

Qualify for major PokerStars events with Steps satellites!

You can turn a few bucks into a major tournament entry or the poker trip of a lifetime with PokerStars Steps tournaments. Jump in at Step 1 for just $7.50 or 500 Frequent Player Points (FPP), and work your way up the ladder to win prizes worth thousands of dollars. There are also Steps Special tournaments available, giving you the chance to make it to Step 2 for as little as just 3 FPPs.

Make it to Step 4 and you can use your ticket to enter any PokerStars $215 Weekly Major tournament, including the Sunday Million, Sunday Warm-Up and Sunday Second Chance, or keep climbing toward Step 6.

Make it to Step 6 and you’ll get the chance to play for a prize package for a huge selection of major live events, including the Asia Pacific Poker Tour (APPT), Latin American Poker Tour (LAPT), PokerStars Caribbean Adventure (PCA) and the World Series of Poker (WSOP)*, plus tickets for online events like the World Championship Of Online Poker (WCOOP). Not every event is available all year-round, but there’s always an exciting event to qualify for!

Even if you don’t advance to the next level in a particular Steps tournament, you could win a chance to play again at the same level, or the one below. You can also buy in directly to any Steps tournament at any level, which means you don’t need to start at the bottom.

To register for Steps tournaments, open the PokerStars lobby and go to any of the following:

Sit & Go > Satellite > Steps
Events > PCA > Steps
Events > WCOOP > Steps
Events > LAPT > Steps
Events > APPT > Steps

You can also search for the word ‘Step’ using the ‘Sit & Go’ and ‘Events’ filters. You can check your balance of Steps tickets in the PokerStars main lobby. Simply click ‘Requests’ in the top menu bar and select ‘Tournament Tickets’ to see your ticket inventory.

Euro Steps

You can also qualify for the European Poker Tour (EPT) - the world’s biggest live poker tour - with PokerStars Euro Steps tournaments, starting from just €2.20. Make it to Step G for your chance to win an EPT prize package. There are also Euro Steps Special tournaments available from just 15 FPPs. Go to Events > EPT > Steps to register.
