Boris Becker is famed around the world for being one of the greatest professional tennis players of all time. In a career that spanned over 15 years, he picked up 49 major titles, including six Grand Slams. In 1985, he became the youngest ever player at the time to win a Wimbledon singles title, and went on to win the event again in 1986 and 1989. He also won a gold medal at the 1992 Olympics in Barcelona.
He’s been playing poker for the past few years and is fast becoming a regular face on the live scene. One of his biggest career cashes so far came at the PokerStars EPT Season 4 Grand Final in Monte Carlo, where he picked up $18,672 for finishing 7th in the €500 No Limit Hold’em side event. He also finished in the top 40 at the WPT Championship in 2009, cashing for $40,855.
Boris plays online at PokerStars using the screen name ‘Boris Becker’, alongside fellow tennis legend Rafa Nadal.
