Poli Rincón Poker Player Bio

Poli Rincón is one of Spain’s best-loved soccer players, who had successful stints as a striker at both Real Madrid and Real Betis, winning the Spanish League and Spanish Cup with Madrid in the late 70’s and early 80’s. He also played for the Spanish national team, with 22 caps and 10 goals, including four in the team’s 12-1 victory over Malta in 1983 - one of the most famous games in Spanish soccer history. He’s still one of the highest-scoring Betis players of all time, and he’s still hugely popular with fans across the country as a commentator and journalist. After a hugely successful 12 year career in professional soccer, Poli stepped off the field and began to turn his attention towards another competitive game.

Poli has always loved poker and is now taking the game seriously since joining the PokerStars team.
