Brazil’s Caio ‘pessagno’ Pessagno has built a solid reputation as a big winner in the games at PokerStars. His route towards becoming a poker player is a familiar tale of seeing poker on TV, playing home games with friends and then graduating to the action online. He started to take the game more serious during his final year as a Business Administration student, dedicating his time to reading forums and analyzing hands.
After months of learning his craft by grinding away at low-stakes Sit & Go tournaments, he was able to move up the limits, and is now a regular fixture in the medium-high buy-in guaranteed tourneys on PokerStars. He's posted some impressive results, including deep runs in the Sunday Special and Super Tuesday, plus a win in the Sunday Second Chance in 2013.
Caio has stated that earning his place on the team is a dream come true, and that he wants to show others they too can aspire to great things at the poker table. Caio also says he’s out to prove his homeland of Brazil is capable of producing successful poker players good enough to make an impact on the world poker scene.
Caio Pessagno is a member of Team PokerStars Online, and you’ll find him playing under the username ‘pessagno’.
