Dale Philip - Daleroxxu

Online player Dale Philip comes from a small town in Scotland in the UK. After years of playing video games, he discovered online poker and quickly found that the skills he’d picked up as a gamer could be used to make a healthy living at the virtual felt. Soon what started out as a hobby had turned into a full time passion and a lucrative career, and he hasn’t looked back since. His first taste of major success came when he won the PokerStars World Blogger Championship of Online Poker (WBCOOP) Main Event in 2006, besting a field of 2,247 to take first place.

He’s continued to win big since, developing into a Sit & Go specialist and regularly crushing the games online at PokerStars. He’s also now looking to add to his list of achievements by working on his MTT game, and has his sights set on winning a World Championship of Online Poker (WCOOP) bracelet in the not too distant future. He also still writes a popular blog, and is looking forward to promoting the game he loves to a much wider audience now that he’s joined the world’s elite roster of pro players.

Dale’s other major passion is travel, and he’s currently undertaking a ‘Tour of Cards’ challenge that will see him personally visit 52 countries around the world in 52 weeks, playing plenty of poker along the way, and blogging from every stop every stop he makes. Dale is a member of Team PokerStars Online and plays using the screen name ‘Daleroxxu’.
