Diego Brunelli Poker Player Profile

Brazilian Diego ‘vgreen22’ Brunelli has been playing online poker since being introduced to PokerStars by friends in 2005. After travelling to the United States in 2004, Diego was intrigued by the California card rooms and compelled to try his own hand at poker. After graduating from law school and taking time out to travel in 2006, he began to find big success online, and decided to turn what was once nothing more than a hobby into a full time job soon after. After a lot of studying and gaining experience, Diego officially became an online poker professional in October 2007, and is now better known by his PokerStars screen name, vgreen22.

Diego ground away at the low stake tables to build up his bankroll and experience, and eventually started multi-tabling cash games and learning Sit and Go strategy. Slowly but surely, he worked his way up the levels and can now regularly be found multi-tabling at the high stakes No Limit Hold’em cash game tables. He also plays a range of Sit & Go’s and MTTs, with an impressive list of cash finishes to his name. Diego attributes his proper bankroll management, emotional balance, experience, and maintaining his confidence to the success he’s found in poker.

When he isn’t playing at PokerStars, Diego likes travelling and hanging out with friends. He’s also a keen sportsman, and enjoys playing soccer, tennis and taking part in water sports like surfing. Diego Brunelli is a member of Team PokerStars Online and plays using the screen name ‘vgreen22’.
