Team PokerStars Pro - Victor Ramdin

Victor Ramdin
Some people ease into the poker world with small wins over years and years. Other people, like Victor Ramdin, explode from a hidden spring of poker talent. It was not until the turn of the century that Ramdin's ocean of ability started washing across the poker felt.
After sitting in a bar and watching his buddies play cards in the Bronx, Ramdin, an entrepreneur and real estate investor, took up poker for himself. Before he was even ready to accept the title, people were calling Ramdin a seasoned poker professional.
No doubt, his results at the tables deserved some recognition. In just the past few years, Ramdin has won nearly $2 million in poker tournaments. To date, his biggest win is a first place finish at the World Poker Tour Foxwoods Poker Classic, where he pocketed a cool $1.3 million. Ramdin also came tantalizingly close to making the final table at the World Poker Tour Championship in 2006.
While his opponents may not believe it, Ramdin is a modest family man with a philanthropic heart. Ramdin is part of a small group of altruistic poker players who travel to Ramdin's native Guyana in South America and provide medical care for needy children.
Ramdin now is a proud member of Team PokerStars Pro and will be playing online at PokerStars and in the biggest live tournaments in the world.
