Win one of five free packages to the EPT Grand Final
Calling players from the UK & Ireland, this is your chance to play in Europe’s richest live poker event, the EPT Grand Final in Monte Carlo. Five winners will sit down with some of the world’s most famous players in the luxurious surroundings of the Monte Carlo Bay Hotel & Resort and play for millions of dollars in prize money. Not only that, you’ll also be part of the spectacular celebrations that will close Season 5 of the PokerStars European Poker Tour, the most successful season to date.
We are running satellites every day March 2 - April 5, where players can qualify for a weekly final. There, you will play for cash prizes and the EPT Monte Carlo Grand Final prize package, worth an amazing $18,800, including tournament buy-in, hotel accommodation and money to cover expenses.
How to qualify
Daily qualifiers to the weekly finals will take place from March 2 to April 5, Mondays to Sundays and include freerolls and satellites from as little as $1 or 10 FPP credits.

The five weekly finals will take place on Sundays at 14:15 ET (19:15 GMT), and each will have a $5,000 prize pool and award one EPT Monte Carlo Grand Final package. The weekly finals will have the following payout structure:

To register for the tournaments, simply select the ‘Tourney’ and ‘Regional’ tabs in the PokerStars game lobby, or use the Tournament Filter by typing ‘Monte Carlo Special’ into the text box.
Last year Glen Chorny took down the EPT Grand Final Main Event, pocketing €2,020,000 for his efforts at the poker tables. The tournament attracted 842 runners, creating a massive prize pool of €8,420,000 – one of the biggest outside of Las Vegas. Every year the finest players from around the world descend on Monte Carlo, including Team PokerStars Pros such as Daniel Negreanu, Bertrand ‘ElkY’ Grospellier, Dario Minieri and the UK’s very own Vicky Coren. This will be a true festival of live poker, and takes place April 28 - May 3, 2009.
