Spencer started his professional poker career in 2005, and barely two years later he’d earned the honor of becoming the first Canadian ever to reach Supernova Elite VIP status. He turned his original $50 deposit into a seven-figure bankroll without ever having to redeposit, and in 2012 he earned a staggering 13.75 million FPPs. Now Spencer can be found playing the highest-stakes Sit & Go’s available on PokerStars.

George 'Jorj95' Lind

Selected as a member of Team Online in its first year, George achieved Supernova Elite VIP status in 2008, 2010 and 2012. He has also earned more VPPs than any other player, and was the first player to break the 2,000,000 and 3,000,000 VPP barrier in one year. Randy 'nanonoko' Lew

'nanonoko' is a proud member of Team PokerStars Online who achieved Supernova Elite VIP status in 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2012 and 2013. He won $484,617 for taking down APPT Macau in 2011, and became a Guinness World Record holder for most online poker hands played in eight hours (profitably) in 2012.

Chen became a full-time poker player in 2010. Results were slow at first, but perseverance and a fearless playing style meant that he was soon able to start reaping the rewards of a successful poker career, including being able to improve the lives of family members. Chen is now aiming to reach 10M Lifetime VPPs, and with this much enthusiasm for the game, it probably won’t take him too long to get there.

You can also find him playing 2-7 Triple Draw, which is his favorite game.

With two WCOOP titles and a SCOOP win already to his name, Ankush was recognized as the European Poker Tour’s Heads-Up Player of the Year in Season 9, and the three-time Supernova Elite player hopes to add to that record moving forward.

Family man Richard has been playing at PokerStars since May 2010, and has notched up some notable results including a third-place finish good for $72,587 at the TCOOP $215 No Limit Hold’em event in 2012. Richard also has an impressive record in live events, scoring a final table finish in a 2011 World Series $1,000 event, which netted him $156,248, and taking the title of Hungarian Heads-up Champion in 2012.

Matt 'showtime' Johnson

Bertrand 'ElkY' Grospellier

He has played over 7,000,000 hands, earned almost 6.5 million VPPs and even bought a Porsche Cayenne through the VIP Program. But in Juan's life, family comes first and poker comes second.

In April 2012, he came 5th at EPT Grand Final for €315,000 - his biggest live tournament cash to date.  Online he has recorded three WCOOP final tables, 26 WCOOP cashes, nine SCOOP Final Tables and 45 SCOOP cashes, as well as winning two SCOOP titles.

In that short time, Wadsulator has also graduated to playing up to 12 tables simultaneously, in stakes ranking from $2/$4 to $30/$60. But while Limit Hold’em might be Wadsulator’s game of choice, the future will be focused on learning other games and continuing to study poker as a whole.

Phil Shaw is a high-stakes poker player and writer from London, England.
