Our winner in this event played brilliantly for over nine hours, leading much of the time. Then, for reasons we will never know-and perhaps he will never know, our winner left his brilliant work undone.

The importance of a single hand was made obvious when 'Aces&Eight' went out in 10th place setting up this Final Table. 'Aces' played exactly one less hand than the short-stacked 'hard$' who's one extra hand, because it was at the Final Table, was worth an extra $1,638 for 9th.

Those who had been waiting for c_my_nuts to go out would be disappointed. He believed in his top pair on the flop and was rewarded for it.

Now the surprise was at hand.

With the money spoken for, jr50 won the event outright. He played brilliantly for over nine hours then he came undone.
