Welcome to WCOOP Extreme Satellites - your best chance to win PokerStars World Championship of Online Poker seats, where you could be playing for millions of dollars in prize money. There are hundreds of WCOOP seats worth more than $1,000,000 to be won. Buy-ins start at only $7.50, which means players of all bankrolls can take part.
How to play
WCOOP Extreme Satellites start August 4, and run twice or three times daily until August 16. Buy-ins start at $7.50, which means players can use Steps tickets and the Steps system to qualify. To take your shot at WCOOP glory, register for the tournaments in the PokerStars lobby by selecting ‘Tourney’ and ‘All’ and typing ‘WCOOP Extreme’ into the Tourney Filter.

What is WCOOP?
Now in its eighth year, the WCOOP draws players from all over the world to compete for the richest prize pool anywhere online. This year’s series will consist of 45 events played over 18 days, with a guaranteed combined prize pool of $40,000,000! All of the top online players will take part, as well as members of Team PokerStars Pro, and you can join them.
Last year, 22,873 unique players representing 119 countries contested the 33 events, and Carter ‘ckingusc’ King walked away with the top prize when he won the WCOOP Main Event and $1,265,432.23 in first place prize money. Team PokerStars Pro had a strong series, with Chris Moneymaker making two final tables, and Bertrand ‘ElkY’ Grospellier racking up five top 20 finishes, including second in the No Limit Hold’em Heads-Up High Roller for $320,000.
