2011 WCOOP Satellites and Qualifier Tournaments

Qualification for WCOOP 2011 has now closed - check back in the coming months for details about the 2012 series!

The World Championship of Online Poker is the biggest online poker tournament series anywhere, and you can win your seat with PokerStars satellites. From as little as $1 you can play your way through to any of the 62 WCOOP events, where you will join players from all over the world and compete for millions of dollars in prize money.

Qualify Online

Satellites start from as little as $1 or 100 FPP. Tournaments run around the clock, and with the WCOOP live satellites feed on this page, you can quickly find the upcoming satellite that best suits your bankroll. Click the tournament you require and that tournament lobby will launch. Alternatively, to register for a satellite or buy-in directly to any of the events, select ‘Events’ and ‘WCOOP’ in the PokerStars lobby, or type ‘WCOOP’ into the Event Filter.

Steps Satellites

You can also qualify for the WCOOP with PokerStars Steps satellites. For more information on how Steps Sit & Go’s work, and how you can get started, see below. Steps are a great way of qualifying for the big events for a fraction of the cost, and there are tickets to various WCOOP tournaments up for grabs.

WCOOP Steps Satellites

Steps Sit & Go satellites start with buy-ins as low as $7.50 or 3 Frequent Player Points. Players finishing in the top two places in a Step tournament win a ticket to the next one up. See the graphic to find out exactly how Steps work.

If you make it to Step 6, you’ll get to battle it out for one of three seats in the WCOOP Main Event. If you don’t make it that far, it’s still possible to start again at the same level or the one below. You can also win seats to other WCOOP events from other Step levels. Don’t forget that you can also buy in directly to any of the Steps levels.

WCOOP Steps satellites are available now. To register, open the PokerStars lobby, click ‘Events’, ‘WCOOP’ and ‘Steps’.
