World Cup of Poker VII - Divisional Finals
After the national teams are finalized in Stage I, they move on to Stage II - the Divisional Finals. Here, the 56 teams from around the globe are divided into seven Divisions. Only one team from each Division will then move on to Stage III - Live Final and a guaranteed share of the $290,000 prizepool!
The key to success at Stage II is team work! In order to advance from your Division, your team will play in a series of Finals, (Team Score Rounds) which will determine a winner from the Division.

The Divisional Finals are scheduled tournaments that contain one player from every national team in the Division. Players in every team will be classified according to football positions, and qualification route from Stage I.

Teams score points based on the finishing position of each team member in the tournaments. The team that scores the most combined points are the winners of that Divisional Final and advance to the next stage.

Players earn points for their team based on where they finish in each tournament as follows:

The team’s score is the total of all its player’s points. The team with the highest total score wins the Divisional Final and advances to the next stage.
In the event of a tie, the Striker will select one player from his team to play a deciding match against the other tied teams’ selected player. The Striker may select himself to play the deciding match. For more detail on this World Cup of Poker stage, take a look at our Divisional Final Example.
Once all of the Stage II - Divisional Finals have been completed, and the scores calculated, the seven winning teams advance to Stage III - Live Final in The Bahamas, and the chance to be crowned world champions!
