Bruce van Horn - World Series of Poker 2003 Players

Bruce is a pathologist from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He has extensive experience playing tournaments, both online and in casinos. He has had a big year so far at the 2003 World Series, with two final table appearances so far (No Limit Hold 'em and Omaha).

Bruce had a huge finish in the 1996 $10,000 event at the World Series, finishing second for $580,000 (Huck Seed won that event). He has had several other money finishes in WSOP events. Although he describes himself as "a doctor, not a pro poker player," he clearly has what it takes to make big finishes. His biggest online victory was taking third place in the $1,000 buy-in event in the 2002 World Championship of Online Poker.

His hobbies include poker and fishing.
