Richard Pipe - World Series of Poker 2003 Players

Richard is from Hertfordshire, England, where he lives with his wife and 3 children. He runs his own business as an independent financial advisor.

Richard started playing poker at the Grosvenor Casino in Luton about eight years ago, and still plays there regularly. He is a tournament specialist, preferring pot limit and no limit hold 'em. Richard plays purely for recreation, and loves the mental challenge. This is his first WSOP experience, and the first time he has played poker outside the UK.

Richard has had a lot of success in tournaments on PokerStars, including a recent first place in the $200 NL event for $16,000. He says that he is "grateful to PokerStars for organizing the online satellites, without which I would never have had this opportunity."
