World Series 2005 - FAQ

• What is the World Series Circuit?
• The World Series Circuit is a series of tournaments hosted around America leading up to the *World Series of Poker in the 2006. This event will be hosted at the Showboat Casino in Atlantic City, New Jersey. We are providing some opportunities for you to represent PokerStars at the main event (December 6-9) of this World Series Circuit event.
• Is there an agreement I need to sign to appear in a World Series event?
• Yes. The World Series requires that all players in events sign a waiver allowing the World Series to film and broadcast their images, as well as other requirements. Any questions regarding this policy should be directed to the World Series.
• Can I play even if I don't sign the agreement?
• No; the agreement is a requirement for participation in the World Series Circuit Event.
• How old do I have to be to participate?
• You must be 21 years of age to play in the PokerStars satellites to the World Series Circuit event or the World Series Circuit event itself.
• Can I purchase a World Series Circuit (Showboat/Atlantic City) seat with W$?
• Yes - if you are one of our most loyal players. That means that you have at least 10,000 lifetime Frequent Player Points. If you think you might qualify for this, please send email to support@pokerstars.com and ask them how many lifetime FPPs you have. If you meet this criterion, then you may purchase the World Series Circuit (Showboat/Atlantic City) seat for W$10,000. The last day to purchase your seat with W$ is Tuesday, November 29th. Otherwise, you will have to win your way into the World Series Circuit (Showboat/Atlantic City) via a PokerStars satellite. You may use your W$ and T$ to buy into our World Series Circuit (Showboat/Atlantic City) satellites.
• When is the last PokerStars satellite into the event?
• Our last satellite into the Showboat event will be on Sunday, November 27th.
• Is there any travel money, hotel, or other incidentals associated with this promotion?
• No. The satellites are for the World Series Circuit (Showboat/Atlantic City) seat only.
• Can I sell or transfer my seat if I win?
• You must play the first World Series Circuit (Showboat/Atlantic City) seat you win. If you are lucky enough to win additional seats, your PokerStars account will be credited with W$10,000. Please see our Terms and Conditions page for complete details.
• Can I buy into preliminary events at the World Series Circuit (Showboat/Atlantic City) with W$?
• No. This promotion is for the final World Series Circuit (Showboat/Atlantic City) event only.
• I won! What do I do now?
• PokerStars will buy you into the World Series Circuit (Showboat/Atlantic City) final event. You will have to provide identification at the World Series Circuit (Showboat/Atlantic City) event when you arrive.
• Will I be required to wear PokerStars gear during the World Series Circuit (Showboat/Atlantic City) event?
• Yes. In exchange for us providing this opportunity to get into the World Series Circuit (Showboat/Atlantic City) event, you are agreeing to represent PokerStars at the World Series Circuit (Showboat/Atlantic City). Whether you win a Word Series Circuit (Showboat/Atlantic City) satellite on PokerStars or buy in with W$, you will have to wear PokerStars clothing throughout the event. We will provide you with the clothing and hope you'll wear it with pride.
