How to Qualify

Qualification for the 2010 World Series of Poker* has now ended. Keep checking the main PokerStars WSOP* page for the latest November Nine updates.

The PokerStars 2010 World Series of Poker* prize package gives you everything you need to enjoy the trip of a lifetime in Las Vegas. There are FPP, Cash and Steps Sit & Go satellites running now, available in a range of buy-ins that suit players of all levels and bankrolls.

The PokerStars 2010 WSOP* prize package is worth thousands of dollars, made up of the following:

$10,000 WSOP* Main Event buy-in
$1,000 for travel and expenses
8 nights hotel accommodation at the Palms (or a cash equivalent) worth $1,000.
Shuttle Bus to and from the Rio

What’s more, players who sign the Pokerstars World Series Terms and Conditions document - and agree to wear PokerStars branded clothing exclusively throughout the Main Event - will be entitled to receive the following bonus incentives:

Free 2011 PokerStars Caribbean Adventure (PCA) or North American Poker Tour (NAPT) prize package for those who cash in the Main Event
50,000 VIP Player Points (VPPs - credited in January 2011)
Main Event Champion Bonus - $1,000,000 split between cash and tournament credit for live or online events

How to Qualify

You can win your 2010 World Series of Poker* seat with the following types of PokerStars satellite, all available now:

Cash Satellites - Use your bankroll to buy in directly to PokerStars cash satellites, available in range of buy-ins that suit players at every level.

FPP Satellites - The perfect way to turn your well-earned Frequent Player Points (FPPs) into a huge payday.

Steps Satellites - Make your way up the Steps ladder to win a prize package. Even if you don’t win a ticket to the next Step, you could still be awarded another ticket to the one below. You can also buy in to any Steps level, which means you don’t have to start at Step 1. See the PokerStars Steps page for more on how they work.

To register for a WSOP* satellite, open the PokerStars lobby, click ‘Events’ and ‘WSOP’.

With so many qualification routes available, everyone has a chance of making it to the 2010 Main Event with PokerStars!
