PokerStars launches World Series satellites

wsop2009_thn.gifMoneymaker. Raymer. Hachem. Eastgate. Six years, four champions, and they all play for Team PokerStars Pro.

Now is your chance to put your name among some of the world's best known players and you can do it for the cost of a fast food lunch.

PokerStars is now running satellites to the World Series of Poker Main Event. Between now and the July Main Event, you will have a chance to win your $12,000 package. It gets you a seat in the big one, a hotel room, and spending cash (not to mention a bag full of neat stuff and an invitation to one heckuva party).

You remember how it went last year, right? Peter Eastgate walked away with more than nine million bucks and became the youngest World Series winner in history.

So, sure, it would be nice to be Peter Eastgate and win a ton of cash. Not everybody can do it, though, so PokerStars is tossing you a big consolation prize.

PokerStars is throwing in something downright cool with the WSOP prize package this year. If you win your seat, go to Vegas to play, and sign the important PokerStars Terms and Conditions, you will be credited with 100,000 VIP Player Points. What's that mean?

Automatic Supernova status in the PokerStars VIP Club.

That's right. It doesn't matter if you have 90,000 VPPs or nine of them. PokerStars is going to make you a Supernova. For some idea what that will do for you, visit the PokerStars Supernova page.

Not only that, you will get an entry into a $1 million freeroll and a chance to win a $1 million cash bonus.

For complete information on how you can win your prize package, check out the PokerStars World Series satellites page.

To get straight into the action, go to the PokerStars tournament lobby, click on EVENTS and WSOP.

We'll see you in Las Vegas.
