PokerStars Sunday tournament results (5-3-09)

ps_news_thn.jpgI used to cry like a baby when "Peanuts" cartoons ended. True story. Once the final credits rolled on the "Great Pumpkin," I knew it would be another year before I got to see Charlie Brown again. And so I wept for lost Peanuts. Of course, I was five years old, but that is neither here nor there. Today, it feels much the same. All the big live events from last week have ended.

Paren Arzoomanian won the ANZPT final.

Vanessa Rousso crushed the EPT €25K High Roller event.

Pieter de Korver took down the EPT Grand Final in Monte Carlo.

It's all over, isn't it?

Well, the EPT and ANZPT seasons are complete. That much is for sure. The beauty of PokerStars, however, is how it never really ends. The Russian Poker Tour kicks back up in less than two weeks, the World Series begins in less than a month, and there are still countless huge events online.

To wit:

Less than 12 hours ago, sasa80 won nearly a quarter million bucks in the PokerStars Sunday Million. The Italian beat out a field of more than 7,700 players and took first prize outright. See out 5-3-09 Sunday Million final table report for how he did it.

As if that wasn't enough, sirpietah battled through a crowd of more than 4,100 people to capture yesterday's Sunday Warm-Up title. You can see the whole story at the 5-3-09 Sunday Warm-Up final table report.

See? It's not all ending! It's just getting started. So, wipe away those tears, cowboy and check out full results from this weekend on the 5-3-09 PokerStars Sunday tournament results page.
