Castelluccio maintains IPT Malta momentum

Sergio Castelluccio, who has already won IPT San Remo this year, is leader at the end of Day 2 of IPT Malta with 801,500 chips.

When you're guaranteed a minimum payout of at least €3,100 for finishing in the money, life can seem pretty sweet. But for the more determined, it just won't do. With a first prize of €190,000 up for grabs you can be sure the word 'compromise' won't do either.

Day 2 started with 155 players, and only 29 made it through to today's Day 3. Behind Castelluccio are Jahan Philipp Siraback from Sweden with 668,500 chips and Michal Polchlopek from Malta with 563,000. The average stack is 266,068.
