Estrellas Poker Tour heads to Madrid

ps_news_thn.jpgThe PokerStars Estrellas Poker Tour in Spain has already been a huge hit, but the latest tournament in Madrid, which kicks off tomorrow (Thursday), may well be the biggest so far.

Sitting down for the €1,000 event at the Gran Casino Madrid will be more than 150 PokerStars qualifiers battling it out against big-name players from Spain and beyond. To cope with expected demand, an extra day has been added with the tournament now finishing on Monday.

This will be the third stop for the Estrellas Poker Tour. The first was in Malaga, which ended with victory for Vedast 'Alphafoil' Sanxis, and the second in Alicante, where Pepe Martinez defeated Team PokerStars Pro Juan Maceiras heads-up to win the title.

You can follow all the action from tomorrow on the PokerStars Blog Spanish site. Yes, you have to read Spanish, but there will be lots of pics and, hey, Google Translate is your friend amigo.

For more details you can also visit the Estrellas Poker Tour site.

Good luck to all PokerStars players.
