IPT Nova Gorica generates another bumper prize pool

IPT_thn.jpgThe PokerStars Italian Poker Tour continues to generate big prize pools, with the winner in Nova Gorica taking home €190,000. 222 players signed up for yesterday's Day 1B, and together with the Day 1A field that made a total of 384 players and a prize pool of €744,960. Impressive stuff.

56 players will be paid, and leading the chase on Day 1B - hunting down Day 1A chip leader Alessandro Sperenza - was Italian Sandro Mazzei with 211,300 chips, followed by Federico Cipollini with 199,900. The average stack is 46,739.

Among those through to Day 2 (164 total) are Team PokerStars Pros Pier Paolo Fabretti (85,900), Salvatore Bonavena (46,600), Dario Minieri (37,000) and Luca Pagano (18,100), as well as Team PokerStars Online's Moschitta (85,900).
